CVG recently quizzed Microsoft Game Studios boss Shane Kim on many subjects regarding the 360. The more interesting questions posed were however about the likes of Halo Wars & Alan Wake, and why they are not seeing high public exposure.
“We’re not showing Halo Wars here today because we wanted to focus on these titles,” he commented when quizzed. “When we show titles we want to show them when they are ready. We’ve learned that from a few games we showed too early, like Too Human.”
He then went onto reveal the demo of Halo Wars at the Games Convention last August was “controlled” demo of the game.
Then when asked about Alan ‘where the hell has he gone to‘ Wake, Shane Kim remarked: “The same goes for Alan Wake. We’re managing that very carefully with Remedy.“

Good call if you ask me – show them when they are ready – although any info on Alan Wake would be welcomed – I just have no idea what the fuss is about unless someone on here would like to describe what the games all about?

Alan Wake is a horror game that plays a bitlike GTA (open world with missions), that is supposed to have really, really good graphics.
I think that is why people are getting hyped, although I dont see the point in doing so myself untl they show some gameplay.
