Speaking at Goldman Sachs Communacopia XV Conference, CEO and chairman of Activision Robert Kotick revealed plans to bring the Guitar Hero franchise to multiple platforms as part of his keynote speech. Kotick confirmed that Guitar Hero would appear “on every significant new format“, while discussing intentions for yearly updates and building franchises across a number of key Activision titles.
Of course we all knew this was going to happen at some point as when Activision first announced acquisition of RedOctane they were quoted as saying “we think the online capabilities of the next-generation platforms offer new and well differentiated opportunities to create additional revenues from downloadable music, which today represents one of the most popular downloadable content categories.”
Maybe we will now finally see an official wireless guitar?

Great news that, it's a game that deserves to be played by more people.

It better be on Wii, but an Xbox 360 version will be great too.
