Ghostbusters theme could come to Rock Band

Ray Parker Jr, the American guitarist and songwriter that is arguably best known for performing the theme song to Ghostbusters, has said he would be interested in seeing the theme made available in Rock Band.

The revelation came in an interview with Eurogamer where Parker Jr commented: “We were just talking about that, we’re working on it now. I think they should have Ghostbusters in Rock Band.”

The interview was mostly about the upcoming Atari game though, so don’t see this as an official reveal. In fact, it may never come to pass with all the licensing involved.

If that happens, Harmonix would always get “I Want a New Drug” by Huey Lewis and the News, it sounds the same more-or-less.
