Square Enix Aim For Simultaneous Worldwide Releases

I think we’d be best of prefacing this news with the phrase we’ll believe it when we see it, but it is still exciting to hear that Square Enix are currently focusing on trying to get future released to hit the shelves simultaneously worldwide. The news comes from a recent article on IGN that cites the strength of the gaming markets outside of Japan for this sudden shift in policy at the company

If this comes to pass then maybe we won’t have to wait almost a full year after the Japanese release of Final Fantasy XIII and Dragon Quest IX for them to hit our shores. However, don’t go getting too excited as like I said at the start we’ll believe it when we see it.
