Four new PSP colours coming to Japan

newcolourpsp

Sony has revealed they will be bringing four new PSP’s to Japan, in the 4 bright colour variants you see above. The PSP’s will be based on the recently released  PSP-3000 model of the handheld. The release of the colours will be staggered, with the Red and Blue coming out on March 5th, and the Green and Yellow hitting March 19th.

Two different versions will be available. If you want the PSP on its own (with the AC adapter and battery pack and all the other usual accessories), you’ll have to set aside 19800 Yen. If you want all of that,  a 4GB memory stick, pouch, strap and cloth thrown in you’ll pay a cool 24800 Yen.

  1. Yuck! Pretty ghastly bright colours.
I’ll stick with my sleek black one, thanks. Although it does have a nice dusty sheen nowadays…

  2. These colours don’t look as tacky as one has come to expect. If the metal look isn’t just down to the photography.

I’m not really a fan of having different colours for systems and never even got used to having a purple GameCube. My lime green Gameboy Colour was ok but only because I was young at the time. Nowadays white is the only alternative to black I would consider, its main pro is hiding fingerprints.

Mmmm… I like the green and red ones. But I hardly play my PSP anymore, and there are annoying things like how with Tekken 5 DR you have to start over again if you change your PSP. Ridiculous.

I like all of them, because the blue one, I’ve seen with psp 100 and 2000, but not THIS type. The red one, just looks good. The Yellow one is bright, and looks like marzipan (LOL) and looks like a simpsons edition one, and the Green one, I have never ever in my whole life seen THAT type of green. ever!!!
