First Warner/Snowblind game to be a fantasy RPG for 360/PS3

After the very recent announcement that Warner Bros. have picked up Snowblind Studios, we did a quick check on Gamasutra’s job listing page to see if we could find some juicy info on what possible games they would be working on in the future. We did not really expect to find much, but interestingly enough it did not take too long to stumble upon a nugget of info, as it seems a Snowblind job listing went up on the site just two short days ago.

The listing asks for a skilled person to work as an “artist for [a] next-gen AAA, fantasy RPG game,” with that person having previous experience on at least one published game – noting that that game should preferably be 360 or PS3 title.

Now, it does not take a genius to put those two together, and figure out what both Warner and Snowblind will be formally announcing in coming months.

Snowblind have a long history of action role-playing games, with both Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath getting a nice reception last-gen. It is likely this new game could be of a similar style to those, albeit based around a new IP.
