First Skate 2 details come in, 5 years have passed

IGN has revealed the first details for Skate 2, the upcoming sequel to what we deemed one of the best sports titles of 2007. According to the site, the story of the game will move five years ahead of the original.Now, when this fact is not all that interesting in itself, it was also revealed the game will once again take place same location as the last – San Vanelona. However, because of the jump forward in time San Vanelona is now supposedly a very different place.

IGN also remarks that the story of the game revolves around your character doing a disappearing act after the last game. However, he makes his return at the start of the new title to see “No Skating” signs have being plastered all over San Vanelona.

Unfortunately no gameplay details have being revealed as of yet
