First details and screenshots for 50 Cent II

It’s fair to say we don’t have much hope in this game. It’s hard to build up any hope for a title built around such an annoying individual to be honest. Regardless, we now somehow find ourselves making the second news post in a day about the game. Why is another one needed you ask? Well, MTV News have gotten their hands on some solid details about the game, and the details offer slight hope that the game could be better from the last disastrous efforts.

According to the site the game (which has now been named 50 Cent Video Game: ‘Blood On The Sand) will see many changes for it predecessor. In fact, it will have noting to do with the old game what so ever. It will now run on Unreal Engine 3, and play like Gears of War, adopting a cover system mechanics. It will also appear on both 360 and PS3, and have online modes to boot

Once we get the game out there … I think people will realize right away where our focus for the sequel is,” Vivendi Games producer Aaron Blean told MTV News. “We’ve emphasized the gameplay quality [more] than anything this time around. We can’t wait to show the game around.” Unfortunately, Aaron goes on to label the first game a multimillion-selling titles in the same news piece, so that makes he other words meaningless.
