E3 On The Move Yet Again

MCV are reporting that just one short week after it had settled into its new home, E3 will apparently be on the move yet again. The publication states that even though the event was somewhat of a success in Santa Monica, although many journalists complained about event been very spread out, and whilst it met many of its objectives this year, a new venue, date and strategy will be put in place for next year.

“E3 was less energising, less dynamic and more diluted. There have been less opportunities for business or exposure to partners and media,” Alain Corre, Ubisoft’s executive director for Europe, the Middle East and Asia, told MCV. “The new formula was a good try, but it has to be re-thought thoroughly.”
