E3 floor plan revealed, looks rather small

Behold, the amazing shrinking E3. We can’t find floor plans of old shows (we remember posting them though), but it is obvious the show is getting small, really small these days. We remember those black and white squares being much, much bigger. It is sad really.

Suppose that’s the price they pay for excluding the public and attempting to make it seem more ‘Elite’?! Give it another year or so and it’ll end altogether! Besides, isn’t Leipzig the new E3?

Its nothing to do with excluding the public. E3 has been a trade only event for many years and only recently was it decided to open it to the public – which was seen to be a mistake as its not a consumer focused show.

The reason is as you say, other shows have sprung up. Also a number of major publishers decided not to support the show which had a major impact on it.
