DSi Japanese instruction manual warnings are a bit crazy

The DSi is now out in Japan, and while that is good news in itself, the better news is that Nintendo have included an instruction manual with loads of warnings for the Japanese audience. If you remember the DSlite and the Wii release in the country, their instructions manuals were a bit weird, and it seems the DSi is no different with its do’s and do not’s as you can see by the images below.

Make sure you check out Kotaku for loads more weirdness, including the great “dont microwave your Dsi.”

  1. How times change – blowing on the cartridge was *essential* back in NES days!

Is the baby staring at the cartridge and making it cry? WTF? I don’t get that one.

  3. Maybe gamers get made when they are stuck on a stage and tend to microwave the unit ;-)

  4. Damn Nintendo, telling me not to drop my DSi onto an unfortunate child! How dare they?!
