Deus EX: Mankind Divided Release Date and Collector’s Edition
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 23rd of February 2016. The pre-order incentive for this game is one of a kind. The developers have put together a feature called “Augment your pre-Order,” which will allow players to choose what digital goodies will come with their game. I can only confirm that this feature is available on the PS4 but it’s probably safe to assume it will also come to the other systems as well. Basically the pre-order incentive comes in five tiers and to activate the program you just pre-order the game through the PlayStation Store, or the store relative to your system of choice assuming “Augment your pre-Order” will be available on it. The five tiers contain the likes of in game missions, e-books, music and so on but the fifth tier should be your main focus if you pre-order because it will give you access to Mankind Divided four days early, so you’ll get it on the 19th of February. How does the tier system work? Well basically all pre-orders of the game from around the world add up and the more people who pre-order the game the more digital items you get in the Day One edition of the game. Getting the game early will have to be a conjoined effort between all those who pre-order. It’s also worth mentioning that the first tier is automatically unlocked when you pre-order so you’re guaranteed something.
However if you’re a huge Deus Ex fan and this just isn’t enough for you don’t worry because the collector’s edition of Mankind Divided was also just announced. The collector’s edition will include all the pre-order incentives from the Augment your pre-Order program as well as some physical items. The physical items include a 48-page artbook created in collaboration with Titan Books, a 9” model of Adam Jensen, a limited edition steelbook case and the Day One edition of the game. The only thing that’s unclear is if people who pre-order the physical collector’s edition will receive it four days early too if the fifth tier in Augment your pre-Order is reached, but it seems unlikely.
