Dead Rising 2 coming, but Capcom not developing

A source close to Canadian developer Blue Castle Games has revealed to Eurogamer that the studio is making a sequel to Dead Rising for Capcom. You probably don’t know that developer at all, and we’d forgive you for that as they have only created one game in their lifetime – The Bigs.

They are also working on another title called MLB Front Office Manager, which is probably in development alongside Dead Rising 2. Hopefully they don’t get the two games mixed up, as zombies in baseball would be weird.

“Everyone’s really excited; the team has obviously seen the rumours and it’s been hard to keep quiet, but they can’t wait to show off the game,” Mr Insider said to Eurogamer.

A remake of the first Dead Rising is also coming to the Wii early next year, so fans have a lot to get excited about – or worry about if you are that way inclined.
