Darth Vader Themed PS4 Bundles Announced

At the D23 Expo two new Darth Vader themed PlayStation 4 bundles were announced for a November 17th release date. The PS4 console itself will be a 500GB black console with an image of Vader on top and a faint repeated Star Wars logo will surround the Vader image. The controller that comes with the console will be themed after Vader’s chest panel with the buttons, triggers and analog sticks sharing the same colours as the chest panels dials. The same repeated Star Wars logo from the console will also cover the controller’s touchpad.

The first of the two bundles mentioned contains the Vader themed PS4 and controller, a copy of Star Wars: Battlefront Deluxe Edition and a voucher containing download codes for four classic Star War games. These games include Super Star Wars, Star wars: Racer Revenge, Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter and Star Wars Bounty Hunter.

Bundle number two contains the Vader themed PS4 and controller, the voucher for the four classic Star Wars games and Disney Infinity 3.0: Star Wars Edition PlayStation Exclusive Hardware Bundle Kit. The kit includes a copy of Disney Infinity 3.0, the Disney Infinity base, the Rise Against the Emperor Play Set (which contains Luke and Leia figures and Rise Against the Emperor Play Set Piece) and a Boba Fett figure.

As mentioned both these bundles will launch November 17th, pricing has not been announced yet but pre orders will be available soon. If neither of the Vader Console bundles pique your interest then there is also a third option available which contains a standard jet black PS4 and controller, a copy of Battlefront and the voucher for the classic games. Unfortunately for those who already own a PS4 and just want the Vader themed controller Sony has no plans to sell it separately at the moment. Fortunately we do know that the four classic Star Wars games will be available separately on the PlayStation Store and will have updated graphics as well as trophy support. We can only assume they will also launch November 17th although no release date has officially been announced yet.
