Codemasters grab F1 licence, game in ‘09

I can’t imagine any F1 racing game getting any better than Formula 1 for the ps3. I’m not into racing games and i put in my time with that game. it was great.

Man! Finally, the F1 is coming to the 360…praise the LORD

I just hope they give us 4-player screens like moto gp!!!

I hope PSP too, and I presume it will, because F1 gmaes have been on it before and are in need of an update. I have a PS3 too anyway so I ain’t that worried. I’m wondering what it will be called considering the other Codemasters racing titles are called GRID and DIRT…

I would love to see some extra features like. Track designer, Helmet designer, Team management, Car colour designer, Career mode, and the stuff they had on the F1 06 game!

I like codemasters but on TOCA race driver 3 i found the driving speed a bit naff and too quick. DTM around Istanbul i got round the same time a real F1 car would which is crazy!

i hope they make it more realistic fully tunable cars like gearing,tires PSI, aerodynamics adjustment.

I hpoe they keep career mode and i hope they make a f1 car desighn mode

SAFETY CAR,VARIABLE WEATHER WHERE U CAN VISIBLY SEE THE TRACK DRY OUT OR GET WET AND BE ABLE TO FEEL THE DIFFERENCE,PROPER CRASHES FROM AI DRIVERS. DRIVER TRANSFER, MANUAL CELEBRATIONS FOR PODIUM. AND WHEN U MAKE CONTACT PARTS SHOULD FLY OFF THE CAR.
THEY SHOULD LOOK AT GEOFF CRAMMONDS GRAND PRIX 4, THIS IS THE BEST F1 GAME EVER.

I hope they do put all those things in with the weather, safety cars etc…I also hope that they put in a formation lap where I can completely control the car and not just run in 4th gear and never have to turn. But two things that I would really love would be 1. Proper radio talk where the crew give you up to date information just like in the real world like when you pit, who exactly you are racing against, when they might pit. That stuff is real exciting. And 2. I hope they bring in BOB VARSHA, DAVID HOBBES, STEVE MATCHETT, AND PETER WINDSOR FOR THE COMMENTARY AND PLAY BY PLAY. Another thing is that since the series is based out of Europe, and like most other games now there are names imputed so the computer can talk to you or about you and use your real name, that more names are put in. My name is Roberto and I can never find my name. It is one of the most popular names in Europe let alone other parts of the world and i can never find it. I know i’m going long here but i feel i need to. Something else is that the last game for the PS3 did the old cars and one old track. That absolutely needs to be expanded on. More cars, more tracks, and even old school drivers from very era. People like that in games where you can blend the old school with the new school. In order for this game not to be just another on the shelf, CODEMASTERS really need to GO DEEP in every facet and give this game and this franchise a life of it’s own

Also, they better make sure that when the driver shifts gears, we see the hands and fingers go through the motions. Plus, SLICK TIRES!!!! I think I know too much about F1

I hope it will have some of the features of the 06 game e.g.braking and steering assistance causse without it id be screwed. but I would like to see new things like designing ur own helmet and safety cars etc and id like to see the other drivers moving to different teams not just you to make it more realistic also you can choose upgrades for your crs and stuff jst something for you to think about….. HAMILTON TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIT

also I would like to see the reactions of the drivers when they win e.g waving at the crowed or shaking their heads with disapointment

I think your car shouldn’t disappear when you have crashed the safety car should come out. When going into the pit you actually drive the car and you have to pull up into your box and at the end of the race as well. more aggressive drivers and if you do the pit wrong you can go away with fuel hose attatched and you have to pull over and let mercanics take it off.

i hope that you can get like drive through penalties and 25 second penalties instead of those tacky 6 second penalties also when you crash your car into another car then it will leave scratches and bits of the car fall of

All the suggestions ive been reading are immense ideas and to be honest i think codemasters are going to be looking at these ideas and comments and putting them all in….for me i just cannot wait to play an f1 game again…not f1 97 (Altho ps1 games are fun ha)

But yeah i agree with everyones ideas…real life stuff…like one mess up in the pit and you go down the pit lane with the fuel pump still attatched….blooody cant wait..whens it due out?

i have lots of suggestions
Safety car but a invisble wall so you can not crash into it.
the weather can rain half way through a race.
commentator better speaking dont just talk about the top 8
talk about attackingat the back.
team radio more realistic talk about weather tell if the other drivers
are heavily fueled than you.
i know this is so harrd because only so much can go on one disc
people dont understand that
but i know you can pull all this off and more

it would be ace if the following was added to the 09 game…
online features,
1.before each race starts you get 15 mins or whatever to set up your car to suit each different track like in career mode but online.
2.varable weather with like a percentage givin so the gamer can choose their tire before and during a race.
3.be able to talk to other gamers during practice seasons or just the option.
4. be able to customise your own f1 car / team.

other than that the 07 game is spot on , its going to be hard to compete with that.

Ithink all of the ideas should be put in plac, is it coming out on ps2 aswell do i think that it should also have like a car show mode were you can do donuts and burnouts and stuff. you should also be able to make the tyres explode more frequently and make your own camera angle lol.
