Ex-Clover Guys Establish Seeds

Anyone that loves great video games was no doubt saddened when Clover shut its doors a few months ago. Well be sad no longer as they are back… well sort of! It has been revealed – via a tandem of neoGAF and Wired Blog snooping on the official website – that Shinji Mikami, Atsushi Inaba and Hideki Kamiya have joined together and formed a brand new Japanese dev studio called Seeds. There is no doubt the guys have great games on their CV’s with Resident Evil, Viewtiful Joe and Devil May Cry being just a few of the five star games behind them.

Seeds promises “a renewed spirit” to gamers and wants to “challenge the world of entertainment“. To do this they reportedly already have 51 people already on board “but to do this, we need many, many more seeds,” the website continues. “So, we are currently searching far and wide for people who want to work alongside us. For people who want to build their future. People who are currently making games elsewhere.

The final question the websites posses is “Would you like to make some games with us?” Everything is good with the world once again and we got to admit we like the new name as well… welcome back!
