Chrono Trigger remake on the way to DS

Remember Chrono Trigger? No! Well, we don’t blame you as it was never released in PAL territories. However, those that played it would certainly tell you it was one of the better RPG’s released for the SNES, and can still stand up as one of the best RPG’s ever released to this day.

So, if you happen to be one of these people that never got your hands on the game then you should be happy to hear that the latest issue of Famitsu has revealed that Square Enix are developing an “Enhanced Port” of the game for the DS. Unfortunately, what exactly they will ‘enhance’ has not been revealed as of yet, but it is still great to hear the revolutionary RPG is finally getting another outing.

According to the mag the Japanese release of the game is currently set for Winter 2008, with no release date touted for the US/Europe as of yet.
