Champions Online dated, coming mid-July

At an event held in the London today, which we sent someone to (hopefully they don’t get lost), Atari has announced that Champions Online will be released for PC in both the US and Europe on July 14th.

Champions Online is a superhero-themed MMORPG. It is being developed by the same guys behind City of Heroes/Villains- Cryptic Studios. Bill Roper is also involved, who is best known for serving as the Vice President of Blizzard North and the Director of Blizzard Entertainment over the course of1994 to 2003.

Champions Online is also coming to Xbox 360, but there is no date for that yet.
