Call of Duty 4 Getting GOTY Edition On 360

Although it was not our GOTY, Activision has revealed that Call of Duty 4 will be getting a special Game of the Year release in the very near future. Along with new graphical flavouring on the boxart the pack will also contain a code to download the upcoming Variety Map Pack. Currently the game is set to hit shelves this April, with Activision remaining quite in regards to a more specific date. A PS3 and PC release for the GOTY edition has not been confirmed by the company either, which is sure to annoy many.

If you have not been keeping up to date, the map pack mentioned above contains four new maps for the game (Creek, Broadhouse, Killhouse and Chinatown), and will retail for 800 Microsoft Points while bought from Live.
