Next they’ll be asking for a big red “Master” button to be put in the houses of parliament that can stop everyone in Europe from playing video games at all with one push.

This is why I don’t vote.

These innitiatives are always well supported by people who don’t understand the issue at all but they have ground. one day one of them will get off the ground and then its time to worry as a gamer.

I think the arguement here tho is that parental controls need to be more dumbed down into the form of a button for clueless parents (who are always right as far as votes are concerned) to actually make the effort.

What a non-existent point.. Parents have the tools to control what their children are playing, so the fault certainly doesn’t lie with the hardware or software manufacturers.

Doesn’t she realise the X360 comes not only with a red button, but a nice big red ring that stops those pesky kids playing ALL games! Instead of kicking this crap argument up again, why don’t these parents actually take some interest in the sprogs they’ve spawned thus ensuring that they know what and when the kids are playing! Why is it always someone elses responsibility? Why do these people even bother to have kids? Sheesh!
