Blue Dragon Coming To Europe In August

The Mistwalker and Artoon developed RPG, Blue Dragon, which was first released in Japan way back on December 12, 2006 has been dated by Microsoft to hit Euro shores on 24th August. The title is best known for been the first 360 title to ship on 3 DVDs and is also the best selling Xbox 360 title in the JPN territory, with 80,000 units sold in the first week.

Blue Dragon’s designers include Hironobu Sakaguchi, Akira Toriyama, and Nobuo Uematsu, respectively co-supervisor, character designer, and second composer of Chrono Trigger. The game’s original story was created by Hironobu Sakaguch and features art from Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z, so there is no doubt there is great pedigree behind the game.

Even more praise for the game comes from Famitsu as they gave it the rather solid score of 37 out of 40 in their shining review.

YES YES YES YES YES YES YES. that's about all i've got to say, really. i mean -- i knew it was coming out, the only problem being that it's coming earlier than i thought (i'd originally heard it was september) which i guess is a strange problem, but money is always tight for me during the summer D: now to wait for culdcept saga and trusty bell to get dated. the 360 needs more over here than just enchanted arms.
