The game itself may not be that good, but we decided to post news that the XBLA Battlestar Galactica game will be going cheaper this week so we could post a photo of Tricia Helfer. So, now we got that out of the way we may as well tell you Sierra will soon be chopping some Microsoft Points of BSG-themed XBLA shooter and selling it for half price. That 400MP price is not a permanent one and will be knocked back up to 800 points 24 hours later.
We are not sure if the game is worth it even at that price though. However, we will admit we’d rather someone developed a better BSG inspired game. It would be fracking fantastic, and we’d fly around in our fracking ships, fracking up people all fracking day.
So say we all!

I’m pretty sure season four starts in the US tomorrow, which would explain the brief price-drop.
For anyone who fancies a better Battlestar Galactica game, there’s always the upcoming Beyond The Red Line, a fan-made project using the Freespace 2 engine, the demo for which can be found here: http://www.game-warden.com/bsg/

Is it just me who thinks the original Battlestar Galactica is better? Not that I’ve watched it in ten years.

Yes, the new Battlestar is amazing. Once it gets something right it get it amazingly right. The last 5 minutes of season three were some of the best moments of telly in the last 10 years.
