Battlefield Heroes beta in early May

EA has revealed that Battlefield Heroes will soon see a beta test, and it will kick of on 6th May. Battlefield Heroes is of course the free-to-play cartoon-styled take on the Battlefield franchise which will be released exclusively on PC later this year.

The game will be funded by adverts which will adorn the games offical site as well as the ‘front-end’ of the game. EA hope to keep adverts out of the game itself. Furthermore, EA boast that even though the game has a unique look it will still run on machine that are a few years old.
