Game Informer has just posted the unveil trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins. It will feature a young, aspirational Batman and some of his first encounters with iconic super villains, similar to High Moon’s Transformers: War for Cybertron. Taking over development reigns from Rocksteady is Warner Bros. Montreal, lead by Prototype and The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction man Eric Holmes. Perhaps equally exciting is the news that Armature Studio, headed up by former Retro Studios people, are developing a 3DS and Vita game called Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate to launch alongside it on the same date. Blackgate is touted as a 2.5D, Metroid-esque take on the character.

Without further ado, check out the unveil trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins below, and look forward to it on Wii U, Playstation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
