Over on the games official forums EA have confirmed that some DLC will be on the way for Army of Two. No official date or price was set for the DLC, but it is apparently coming “in the not too distant future.” According to the game’s Assistant Producer, Matt Turner the DLC will boast 1 new multiplayer map, as well as 2 new campaign maps. Also available will be an SSC Challenge – which is apparently an obstacle course for the mercs to run.
Also soon available for download will be an Army of Two demo, which will be available on the 360 Marketplace on April 1st. It will feature the training map from the games campaign as a taster of what the full game will offer. If you have not played the game yet this may be just what you need to help you make the decision to jump aboard, or possibly dive further away from the title.
We are still not sure about getting DLC for games this early. Surly they could have just included the content in the game if they are able to release it for download just a few short weeks after release.

I won’t be bothering getting this… not after I read about EA charging for extra weapons in Battlefield: BC… EA are treading dangerous ground….. besides, IMO Army of Two was a huge disappointment…. Multiplayer was so laggy you had no chance…. and the Co-Op soon grew old.

Yeah, I was really shocked to see that the Bad Company beta shows weapons that you’ll need to purchase online to unlock. It’s the exact sort of crap we all feared when microtransactions first reared their ugly heads.
