neoGAF dino’s, Kotaku cake, and Destructoid mocking Fox News? It seems whole sites are getting in on the April Fool’s action, by completely changing their look.
If you visit neoGAF enough (multiple times, across multiple days, over multiple years is about right), then you will notice that where there used to have a Pokeball shaped object there now resides dinosaurs. We are not sure why, as it makes no sense, but we like it. In fact it is liked by so many people on the forum they are already finding was to keep the dinos for when they will most likely go extinct April 2nd.
Kotaku have also jumped aboard by seemingly reporting on just cake for the whole day. If you go there now you will see the blog is now full of reports of cake, cookies, toppings, jam, the CakeStation Store, and just about everything else the obsessive caker needs. We blame Portal for this, as we all know it was that game that invent cakes.
Then there is Destructoid, who seems to have put the most work in of all three site by completely redesigning their pages to look like FoxNews.com. The site even mocks the idiotic headlines that the real ‘fair and balanced’ one preaches ever day.
