April Fool 2008 #8 – Bungie’s Dreamcast game
Bungie have put a job advert asking for people to apply for a position as “an experienced engineer with the skills and qualifications to port existing software to a challenging older hardware platform through emulation. ” They then run down the list of the consoles specs commenting that “Knowledge of Hitachi 128 bit chipsets“, “Understanding of GD ROM and HDD caching” and “Thorough knowledge of Yamaha legacy soundchips” would be desirable, all of which leads is to believe they are talking about the Dreamcast.
Maybe it is a April fools joke for the tech savvy, or maybe they are up to something more important than trying to fool us, we just can’t be sure. We hate this god damn day!
