April Fool 2008 #2 – LOTRO’s Amon Hen

Yes, we are still trying to keep track of all April fool’s day jokes. It probably won’t end well, and we might miss half of them, but at least we tried.

The latest one to come to our attention is the supposed introduction of a new content update for The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar. According to the latest post on their site there will be a content update coming soon which will unlock a new race of people hens called The Fowl People, which will grow as you level them. Along with the The Fowl People new epic quests arcs will be unlocked, such as the fantastic sounding ‘Crossing The Road’

Brand new skills will be available too such as Oppressive Yolk, Eggcellent Assault, and the evil sounding Batter. New instrument’s well be available too such as a Drumstick, and a new trait called the Nuggets of Wisdom is probably thee most interesting aspect of the update.
