Angry Birds Space

Angry Birds Star Wars now a game in the UK charts. Also, Assassin’s Creed

Did you know, Activision Blizzard released Angry Birds Star Wars recently in the UK, and enough people bought it so it now sits at #30 in the charts – well now you do!

Games called Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and Battlefield 4 were released too. Ubisoft won, with Assassin’s Creed debuting at #1 position. Battlefield came #2, which means John Riccitiello was fired again.

Both titles failed to match the sales of their predecessor from last year – the imminent release of next-gen consoles is to blame, apparently. It should be noted that Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag had more time on sale than Battlefield 4 – so note that if you are looking for something to blame (apparently).

Aside from soldiers and pirates, Football Manager 2014 dived into #6. For fans of Video Game Championship Wrestling, WWE 2K14 debuted at #7 – this game has not improved in quality since WWE SmackDown! Here Comes the Pain released in 2004. Pokemon Y is falling, and is at #10 – perhaps it was always a fad. Skylanders Swap Force is better – it’s at #9.
