Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s Really Useful Group (that the name of his company, not just us being sarcastic) is apparently now moving on to work on video games, after doing all they can of films, theatre and records. The games will be based on the famed composer works, which are known by just about everyone in the world, are likely to be set in the rhythm genre.

Kotaku report that the first works to be given the game treatment will Cats, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jesus Christ Superstar, with the games taking the format of auditions where us, the player, will be one of many looking to nab the starting roll.

With the video gaming audience having moved from its male-dominated roots towards a more family-oriented demographic, now is the perfect time for us to take some of the best-known names in musical entertainment in a more interactive direction,” comments Really Useful Group’s Douglas Glen.
