Alien Hominid HD is half price on XBLA this week

The deal of the week on Xbox Live starting today the 30th March is Live Arcade game Alien Hominid HD being cut down to half price for Gold subscribers.

If you like Castle Crashers then you can now pick up this previous effort from developers The Behemoth for just 400 MS points (£3.40). We reviewed Alien Hominid when it was released on the original Xbox nearly four years ago, and were suitably impressed.

As an extra incentive, gaining an achievement in Alien Hominid HD unlocks the Alien as a playable character in Castle Crashers. So if you’re a fan of hand-drawn side-scrollers then what are you waiting for?
