Activision boast COD4 is best FPS
Speaking to MCV, Activision marketing director David Tyler has commented that he is pleased with the position COD4 has built in the shooter genre, “We’re pleased to have Call of Duty 4 leading the way in the FPS genre, with recent launches such as Army of Two and Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 failing to inspire,” he spitefully comments ranking his game above EA and Ubisoft’s efforts.
“Call of Duty 4 has been a phenomenal success for us and reflects Activision’s commitment to creating truly ground-breaking games,” continued Tyler, highlighting that the game had sold over 1.3 million copies to date in the UK, and the DLC for the game was also doing quite well. So well in fact that it crashed the Xbox Live servers the night it was first available.

It is an excellent game… the multiplayer side of things is to be admired… however, it may be a victim of it’s own success in that the lag experienced lately at times makes the game unplayable! Activision / Microsoft need to address a few issues which would make this game top dog!

It’s great, but here is 3 that I think are better, Halo 2, Rainbow six 3 and Battlefield 1942.

Yes thats true, i also think they are far better FPS games, like all the halos, bioshock, F.E.A.R, condemned etc, far cry, Crysis
