Yes, we know the sky is blue, and apparently grass has a greeny tint to it, but today Microsoft have seen fit to state something obvious as well. “We do, genuinely, I think, have the best games for both the core and the masses,” comments Xbox Europe boss Chris Lewis. Well, what else did you expect him to say?
“I certainly wouldn’t trade places with any other platform holder right now. We’ve got the best games line-up, over 1,000 games for the holiday period – that’s true for exclusive and first-party and third-party,” he proclaims
His quoateable lines then kept on coming. “We are very well positioned to win in Europe, [with the] best games for the core and the family, best service and a great set of price points to broaden our appeal to a wider community,” he said, “And [we have] a lot more to come.”
It may have been better if he said they did not have the best game, that would have been more exciting to report, but you can’t have everything!

Well positioned to win in Europe? What a nutter! If they don't sort themselves out they'll have well and truly lost in a few months.

Erm... let's see..... Live is falling apart at the seems, nearly every UK gamer I've ever spoken to hates the fact that we get EVERYTHING later than the rest of the world and WE PAY MORE for it!
Admittedly, Micro$hite do have some good games, but then they also have some complete tripe (have you looked at the crap that's clogging up XBLA?)!
I particularly like the fact that the Sports catalogue consists mainly of Football, American Football and Golf.... where's the Rugby? The PLAYSTATION has had a miriad of Rugby games! Oh and Turn Based strategy/rpgs... how many of them has the Xbox had? Stop admiring yourselves in the mirror Micro$hite and get your online serive sorted, or else as Will pointed out, everyone will be deserting you before long......
