360 HD-DVD add-on updated
If the HD-DVD dream is still real to you, then you will be happy to hear the Microsoft has released an update for their HD-DVD add-on for the 360. If you own a Xbox 360 HD DVD player, and if you still have it connected to your 360 then the next time you’re are signed into Xbox Live you’ll be prompted to download the auto update.
The update will fix compatibility improvements with certain titles, and also add additional support for network features. It won’t however fix your broken heart.

Seriously…. what’s the point if it’s no longer supported as a film format?

Well, because there are still a lot of HD-DVD drives out there. Although I admit I’d rather they sorted Live out first…
