2K Quietly Date BioShock

2K games have announce via their The Cult of Rapture website that the Bioshock – which is described as the “spiritual successor” System Shock 2 – is now scheduled for release on the 21st August. This is a change of the Summer 07 release the publisher had originally planed for the game.

BioShock, developed by Irrational Games, peaked alot of interested as the developers talk of interactive environments and player-driven choices with the inclusion of AI ecology, which will cause the NPC to dynamically search for opportunities to fulfill their purpose.
