Five Things from TGS 2015

The TGS pre-show press conferences took place earlier today over in the Land of the Rising Sun. While I’d love to type out every little intricate detail announced at the show it’s late and I want to go play Mega Man, and you should too. With that in mind let’s take a look at five things you wouldn’t want to have missed from this year’s Tokyo Game Show.

The Old Hunters

First up, and perhaps the news I’m most excited for, Bloodborne’s DLC has finally been announced, along with a release date. The DLC is titled The Old Hunters and it’s coming to kick your ass on November 24th. It’s a feature length experience that revises some old content as well as adding in a host of new features including areas, bosses and weapons. A retail version of Bloodborne with The Old Hunters packed in is coming to Japan on December 3rd, it hasn’t been confirmed if it will hit Western shores but more than likely it will.

GR

Remember Vita’s exclusive title Gravity Rush? No? Well that’s ok because Sony is offering you a chance to redeem your mistake. Gravity Rush: Remastered is coming to PS4 in Europe on February 10th, but North America gets it a day earlier on the 9th. The game is being converted by Bluepoint Games, who are the same guys behind Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection. Gravity Rush: Remastered will come with updated graphics and all of the Vita’s DLC packed in.

PM

Project Morpheus has undergone a name change and from now on it will be referred to as PlayStation VR. While it’s not the most exciting name it does exactly what it needs to so there should be no confusion over what the product actually is when it appears in stores during 2016.

Why have one piece of Gravity Rush news when you can have two? A sequel to the Vita game was also announce and is simply called Gravity Rush 2. There’s not a whole lot to say bar its coming in 2016, check out the trailer above.

EG

While there’s a load of news to pick from I’m going to go with Everybody’s Golf for point number five. The series is developed by Clap Hanz and is called Hot Shots Golf in the US. It was announced that Everybody’s Golf will be debuting on PS4 in 2016. Details are few and far between but apparently the series is going “open world,” and you’ll be able to customize both golfers and courses.

There you go, five pieces of news from TGS 2015, now Mega Man.
