Facebreaker demo on Live next week, PSN week after

EA Sports has sent out word that a demo of its arcadey boxing game, Facebreaker, will be bobbing and weaving it’s way onto both PSN and Xbox Live very soon. The Xbox 360 demo will be available on Thursday July 31st and the PS3 version will be arriving a week later on August 7th. No reason was given for the weeks delay on Sony’s console.

Character sharing will be enabled in the demo, thus letting gamers create their own unique custom pugilists and share them with friends. These characters will then be allowed to be imported to the full game upon release.

When they game was first announced EA’s Peter Moore commented: “Arcade boxing takes me back to my roots in this industry, and this game signals our shift to adding more approachable fun to our product lineup.”
