Dell XPS 14 and 15 available now, ‘Windows 8-ready’

Dell has released two new high-powered ultrabooks for consumer purchase today.

The new models, The Dell XPS 14 and XPS 15, feature an aluminum body and gorilla glass screen as well as 8GB of RAM and a 3rd Gen Intel Core i5 processor.

The ultrabooks also come packaged with Windows 7 Home Premium. Most interesting, however is that Dell is marketing these devices as Windows 8-ready. With these being non-touch devices (sans the touchpad), many are waiting to see if consumers will be satisfied with only clicking on Windows 8’s flashy tile interface through an input device besides their finger.
