Ubisoft no longer making game based on Heroes

Ubisoft has confirmed they will no longer be developing a game based on the Heroes TV series, and whatever plans they had for it are now well and truly dropped.

“The rights to the Heroes video game have reverted back to NBC Universal. Ubisoft will no longer produce a video game based on the TV series“, comments Ubisoft’s PR Director Jaime Cottini when questioned by Qj.net

It is not known for what reason Ubisoft pulled the plug, but it could be as simple as the recent poor ratings season 3 is getting, or as complicated as the mess that the plot of said season is.

When the game was first announced all the way back in mid-2007, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot commented “Besides being one of my favorite shows on TV, ‘Heroes’ is the perfect fit for a video game with all the various superpowers and special abilities.” We guess this is no longer the case.

A No More Heroes joke may be quite humorous right now, but I just cant put on together.
