Deadliest Catch Game Coming To 360 / PC

Mythbusters might be by far our favourite show on the Discovery Channel (with Dirty Jobs been a very close second) but at times Deadliest Catch also puts up a fight for our viewing time as well. So, it is somewhat nice to see a game – which will go by the name of Deadliest Catch Alaskan Storm – will be on the way to PC and 360 in April.

As you have probably already guessed the game will put players in the shoes of the guys working in one of the world’s most dangerous jobs – which is working on a crab boat on the icy Bering Sea if you have not watched the show. From there gamers select to helm one of five crab boats that star on the show and then order about a roster of 20 real crab fishermen. Furthermore, the game is apparently been developed with help from Sig Hansen (who stars on the show) to help keep it as real as possible. He even created a video to inform us all about his hopes for the game.

Interesting? Sure it is, but we are sure the game will be unplayable abomination when released. Sorry, but we have just lost all faith with any movie/TV licensed game. More so, we cant find any details on the game developers (Greenwave and Liquid Dragon) either, so that’s not a good sign.
